Cheerleading Tryouts | Information

It is time for cheerleading tryouts grades 7-12! Since we will not be returning to school for the rest of this school year, we will be having "virtual" tryouts. If you are in grades 7-12 next school year, and you are interested in trying out for cheerleader, please message your name, grade, and that you are interested in trying out for cheer to contact Foresta Shope on Facebook Messenger or email foresta.shope@tartan.k12.oh.us. The information must be received by Wednesday, April 29th.

Kaci Bell and Will Shope named to the Wendy’s High School Heisman

Congratulations to Kaci Bell and Will Shope on winning the 2018 Wendy's Heisman Award. Eligibility begins with maintaining a GPA of 3.0 (B average) or better. Applicants also need to be proven leaders and role models within their school and community. And applicants must perform in at least one of the 47 school-sponsored sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games or the National Federation of State High School Associations.

EHS Cheer Team Receives Superior Rating Overall   The East High School Cheerleaders attended summer cheer camp at Baldwin-Wallace University in Berea, OH July 16-18. The EHS Cheer Team received a Superior Rating Overall, All American Dream Team Selection which enables them to go to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, McDonald’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Cleveland Cavaliers Spectacular, and the All-American Halftime Performance at the Citrus Bowl. They received an At-Large In-Bid for the International Cheerleading Championship at Walt Disney World.
